I'm exhausted
I'm sorry for the laziness with the blogging. Being a more than full time working mom is kicking my butt. I promise to post soon. More house cleaning duties are calling. And I am too busy to try to be beautiful. It's effortless for my friends but it's another full time job just to look decent. Hang with me and things will be beautiful!

What is your morning beauty ritual?
I am curious as to other women's morning beauty rituals. A lot of women I know come to work looking amazingly polished. I'm lucky if I can get to work with BB Cream on.
I have a busy schedule, as I am sure that most women do, so I try to keep my morning beauty routine efficient and minimal. Yeah.... About that.
Here's my routine:
1. FINALLY get out of bed after hitting 'snooze' on my phone until it either A) goes dead or B) the sound of it makes me 'morning mental' and I finally give in and get up.
2. While trying to get of out of the bed, my little German Shepard puppy decides, after a few kisses, that she wants to play 'fight with the mommy'. This is about 10 minutes of her sinking her sharp little puppy teeth into my hand or biting my boob or something else in frustration that I've hidden my hand and won't give her the other one.
3. I head to the kitchen for coffee. I am attempting to drink at least one bottle of water before I start my coffee but sometimes it just doesn't happen...
4. Once my child is off to school, I watch about 30 minutes of hockey highlights. I don't watch news anymore because it depresses me. Besides, my IPhone will alert me with IMPORTANT breaking news.
5. I finally decide to start with the morning beauty regimen. It is as follows:
1. I use GlamGlow ThirstyCleanse Mud. I let it sit on my face while I sip a little more coffee.
2. I realize what time it is and start freaking out. This is when I jump into the shower.
3. I wash the GlamGlow Mud off while in the shower. I love it because it turns soapy once you start cleansing it off with water.
4. After my shower ritual of cleansing, exfoliating, deciding on whether my hair can go another day without being washed and thrown into a bun, I use Dr. Jart's Micro Water with a cotton pad. It's a FABULOUS cleansing water. I thought my face was cleaning before I starting using it after cleansing it one time. I was dead wrong. So, now I 'double cleanse'.
5. After the cleansing water dries, I use another cotton pad and apply Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment. I know, this seems like a lot of cleansing but in doing my due diligence, double cleansing isn't harmful unless you're using something that strips the natural oils from your face. It also depends on your skin type. One size doesn't fit all.
6. I then apply Dr. Brandt's Collagen Booster. Once it dries, I apply a heavy moisturizer. Usually, Ole Henriksen's 'Express the Truth' for anti-aging. I'm on an anti-aging kick right now.
7. I finish my dressing routine while my puppy decides she wants to play, 'Eat the Mommy' again, sip a little more coffee with regret that I didn't wake up earlier, try to apply at least a little makeup and head to work. On a good day, I'll have a full face of makeup by 3:00...
So, there's my 'un'usual routine. And now that I see it typed up, I really use A LOT of beauty products. I'm trying to find what I like best and stick with it but I have Beauty Product OCD... And I also find ways to get products cheaper or larger samples before I commit to a product.
I hope you've enjoyed our first post! Please feel free to comment, ask questions, make suggestions, etc.
In the comments selection, I'd like to know you're beauty routine! Maybe you can help me to make mine more efficient or effective. I need to work on a little biting puppy as well!
Also, below are the links to the products on Sephora but most of them can be shopped around for better prices!
GlamGlow ThirstyCleanse
Dr. Jart Dermaclear Micro Water
Perricone MD Blue Plasma
Dr. Brandt Skincare Collagen Booster
And finally, I've posted a search link to Sephora for Ole Henriksen products because I cannot find that specific moisturizer. I use a LOT of those products!
